Dear Editor: I'm writing about the newspaper report that your company published last week about the demostration against the proposed by-pass for the town of Oldbury which is incorrect. First of all, in the introductory paragraph we were claiming because the construction of the road will lead to the extintion of animals like snails and the destruction of the forest. In the second paragraph the incorrect event was that the stimated of people gathered here were over 2.000 not 200, it was in a silent demostration and we did not sit on the road blocking the access to the site. We are pacifist demostrators. Another important think to clarify is the people that were there are locals residents and not just from other parts of the country. Finally, I would like asking the newspaper to send a reporter to interview me and explain this situation as it really was. I'm looking forward to your reply. Yours faithfully. Myriam Pinto.

Two years ago I was on the beach with my exboyfriend. Unexpectedly the rain started and we had to come in the house. It was a cold day on July and the wind flew faster than never before. The door closed and the windows moved side by side. It was around 3 p.m and we finished off lunch. Then we went to our bedroom to be "safe" of the rain, we thought that was too dangerous for us jajaja so we went to bed. Five minutes went by and suddenly from the ceiling a leak of water was on our heads !!! It couldn't be possible. So he went to the kitchen and brought glue with him to fix the leak. It never happend. The rain got worst and we had to rent another house but without leaks of course.

For families and individuals residing in Chile the threat of violent crime is a fear that we all have to live with. Just pick up the newspaper or turn on the T.V. and see the headlines of murder, rape and assaults reported from coast to coast. There is an answer to the realization that you may be a victim of a violent crime, and that is to be prepared to defend yourself. A crime of violence or violent crime is a crime in which the offender uses or threatens to use violence or violent force against the victim. These include crimes in which the violent act is the objective of the attack, such as murder, along with crimes in which violence is the means to an end, such as robbery.  Why is it important for adolescents to help in the fight against crime? They were sad to leave, but they had no choice. Their mom had died, and their house was burning down... The accident began when Tom and Erick were in their rooms with the house's light off. They heard a pearcing scream from their mother's room. Tom and Erick went to see her and she was layed on the floor bleeding and with lots of pills between them. Definetely, She was dead. They started to cry when suddenly they smelled the worst smell ever, it cames from the kitchen. Tom, the older brother, was really scared, his mother had just died, and his youngest brother didn't stop crying. In spite of his fears, he went to the kitchen and the lights still off. The phone rang, Erick picked up and nobody answered. The older guy keep walking to the kitchen, turned on the light and that was the moment when the house exploded. Tom ran to the mother's room, took his brother's hand and they left the house as quick as possible. Their mother was in the house, but they didn't have...

Mrs. Helen Ryan Competition Organizer : I'm very pleased with the prize that you have given me. I really want to be at Camp California in the U.S.A. I'm really interested in your competition. Firstly, I would like to travel only in July because in that date I am going to have hollidays in my University and I'll have freetime during 3 weeks. According to the acommodation at Camp I prefer log cabins, because they are comfortable, cleaner than tents and they are a warm place. Secondly, as you said in the last letter, I'm going to have the chance to practice some activities that I saw in the Camp list, and I think that I'm pretty good at singing because I have a good voice, I know entertaining and lots of songs and I feel confident in front of the people. However, I'm really good at photography because I used to take pictures when I was a teenager and I like very much. Lastly, I want to know if I need a special kind of clothes as outdoor clothes are, how much money ...
